6.  What are the operating limits for affected sources under this rule?

Operating limits are established based on the web coating and printing, slashing, and dyeing and finishing subcategories. If HAP emissions are reduced with a capture system and add-on control device, the facility must establish site-specific parameter limits that reflect operation of a capture system and add-on control device with achievement of the emission limits during representative operating conditions. If thermal oxidizers are used then the temperature in the firebox must be monitored. If catalytic oxidizers are used, the facility may choose to monitor the temperature at the inlet of the catalyst bed and the temperature difference across the catalyst bed or monitor the temperature at the inlet of the catalyst bed and then prepare and implement a maintenance plan that includes periodic checks of the catalyst activity.
